SATURDAY
Brought Banana to Aunt's house. :) Their house is full of abstract art pieces painted by Osman, Aunt's husband. Very interesting :D A pity that Aunt's parrot got stolen =( She tediously raised it since it was a baby. It could talk, literally.

I went to the old police academy to have dinner and some karaoke (without me singing, of course, haha) because my Uncle was a former police officer. Aunt's really pro at singing :D Too bad it's all the old songs, 'caus the only songs I recognised was Michael Jackson's lol.

SUNDAY
3L classmates (9 of them) is in Taiwan for a 1 month BSP scholarship trip. Went to wish farewell to her at the airport. We were rushing to complete the really pretty cards Amanda made and after scrambling to the departure hall we realised that we had like 1.5 spare hours left, LOL.

ChingYing had a handphone with auto smile detection and it did not manage to capture anything when Yibei gave her rocker look (tongue out, fingers poised) so she turned around, and suavely flipped her head back at the camera. She attempted 3 times before the ploy worked.

Li Min and ChingYing were giving their farewell hugs, Yibei didn't, typical typical lol.

Walked around Changi Airport with the 3 Amandas and Jia Mei. Bought a cute handphone keychain (tooth shape), and some french nouggats (how to spell haha). Played GoFish! with them, a card game I never played before. Departed.

I went home via MRT with Jia Mei.

At night, I went to watch This Is It! @ Jubilee Hall which was a really creepy cinema because the whole building is undergoing major renovation and there were barely any tenants, only 1 or 2, and we were the only ones in the cinema, apart from a couple. It's not like a bustling Junction 8 cinema. Regardless, the movie was #1 box office hit in US and Singapore.

MONDAY
Went to the zoo!

That's my cutest photo ever of squirrels. Too bad the lighting's bad and the photo's grainy. Had to turn it into B&W to reduce grain.

The otters were funny. When we neared their enclosure, they started running towards us and making loud noises, expecting food (too bad it wasn't feeding time).

This polar bear looked directly at the camera, cool shot! :D It even YAWNED, but my camera didn't catch it =(

We were lucky. Just when we completely toured finish the zoo, it started raining, god bless (don't be mistaken I'm buddhist). I still remembered the cheesy phrases I learnt during primary school for creative writing - ominous clouds loomed before the flood gates of heaven opened

The tuition classes during Primary 6 was of tremendous help though. My English went from being one of my worst subjects to one of my favourite subjects. Still need LOTS of improvement though, my reading hasn't gone too far lately.

Then went out for supper with Aunt/Husband.

TUESDAY
Went to the new shopping central beside Robinsons, Orchard Central. Really glassy and modern interior. Ate some weird tasting japanese pancake and a mango slice that cost SG$10. Whole pie cost $75. Saw a really cute/tiny/mini/pretty designed pen. Cost $9.50. Ouch.

WEDNESDAY

Was supposed to go swimming but oh well, it rained just as we were about to head out.
Stayed home to watch the movie Star Trek. Cool movie :D

SATURDAY (after the next)
I then went to Singapore Art Museum to see the Camino a la Modernidad, The Path to Modernity: Mexican Modern Painting. Viewed both Philippine art (set in the turbulent times of Spanish acquisition) and the Mexican Art exhibition. The Mexican Art exhibition is is the largest Mexican art exhibition ever held in Singapore and Southeast Asia. :D The real (not prints) paintings were quite old, some dating back to as far as 1920s 1930s.

That's the famous Frida Kahlo painting, "Self-Portrait with Medallion", which was featured on the front cover of Life!

After that, I went to ION Orchard for lunch :D Mistakenly ordered 2 roti pratas which were unexpectedly gigantic. Couldn't finish, was left bloated, lol. 1 pizza $4 =.=

Christmas decorations. Uniquely cartoonish reindeers with good fashion sense

There was a huge Christmas tree outside ION Orchard :D

When you stepped inside the Christmas tree, you are in for a treat. Sparkly lighted baubles that bear resemblance to diamond stars 8D

There was a weird prize up for grabs outside the mall - a yacht. I get it, big prize, big money, but unless you live in Sentosa Cove (it ALREADY comes with a yacht), and could DRIVE a yacht, there isn't much use of it. lol.
